Terms & conditions

1. Who we are

This website is operated by NPG Producing Limited, registered in England and Wales, company number 17417245. Registered office: 4th Floor, Silverstream House, Fitzroy Street, London, England, W1T 6EB. HUMBUG is produced under licence from Speakeasy Project. For general enquiries, contact hello@humbugchristmas.co.uk; for corporate and group enquiries, contact sales@humbugchristmas.co.uk.

2. Using this website

These terms cover your use of the HUMBUG website and enquiries made through its contact links. Please use the site lawfully. You must not introduce malicious software, attempt unauthorised access, disrupt the site or misuse its content or contact details. You may browse, share links and print pages for your own personal reference.

3. Event information and enquiries

We aim to keep event information accurate and current. Photographs and videos may show previous HUMBUG productions and are illustrative; individual performers, staging and other elements may vary. Confirm any details that are important to your booking, including dates, timings, accessibility, age restrictions and package inclusions, before committing. An enquiry alone does not reserve space or create a booking.

4. Tickets, corporate bookings and cancellations

Ticketing Everywhere will be the ticketing provider for HUMBUG. This website does not currently take ticket payments. Booking confirmations and essential ticket or event updates do not require you to opt in to promotional emails. Any purchase will be subject to the booking terms, prices, fees and cancellation provisions supplied by the named seller before you book. Corporate and private-hire arrangements require a separate written agreement. These website terms do not replace those booking terms or remove your statutory rights. For any existing booking, contact your seller using your confirmation details. If an event is cancelled or materially changed, your rights will depend on the circumstances, applicable law and the terms provided when you booked; nothing here rules out a refund where you are legally entitled to one.

5. Intellectual property and licence

The HUMBUG name, branding, show materials, photographs, video and other content are protected by intellectual property rights held by their respective owners or licensors. NPG Producing Limited presents HUMBUG under licence from Speakeasy Project. The website copyright credit does not claim ownership of third-party rights. You must obtain the relevant rights holder’s permission before reproducing content commercially, adapting it or using logos in a way that suggests an endorsement or partnership.

6. Links and availability

Links to maps, partner websites and other third-party services are provided for convenience. Those services have their own terms and privacy notices. We do not control their content or availability. We may maintain, update or temporarily suspend the website and cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.

7. Responsibility and your rights

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. We are responsible for loss or damage caused by our breach of these terms where that loss is a foreseeable result of the breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill.

8. Privacy, complaints and changes

Our Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Please send website complaints to hello@humbugchristmas.co.uk with enough detail for us to investigate. We may update these website terms by publishing a revised version with an updated date. Updates do not retrospectively change an existing booking agreement.

9. Email sign-ups and marketing

Through the website sign-up form, you may opt in to receive HUMBUG show promotions and on-sale announcements from NPG Producing Limited. A separate optional choice allows you to receive news and offers about other Niche Productions Group shows from Niche Productions Limited. Speakeasy Project, Immersive Everywhere and Ticketing Everywhere marketing is not included in the current form. Each choice names a distinct mailing purpose or sender, and none is preselected. No marketing choice is required to use the website or make an enquiry, and accepting these terms does not give marketing consent.

Subscriptions and consent preferences are processed through Speakeasy Project’s Mailchimp account. Details may be shared with the specific organisations whose marketing you choose, as explained in our Privacy Policy. Each sender may email you only within the choice you have made. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the relevant sender’s email. Joining a mailing list does not reserve tickets, guarantee availability or promise priority access unless expressly stated in a specific offer. Do not subscribe another person without their authority.

10. Venue operations and customer service

Relevant booking information may be shared with the venue operator and authorised venue staff to validate and scan tickets, manage admissions, redeem purchased add-ons and packages, communicate emergency or safety information, and provide on-site customer service. Our Privacy Policy explains the information involved and the reasons for sharing it. This operational use is separate from optional marketing consent and does not subscribe you to venue marketing. Please follow reasonable safety instructions from authorised event and venue staff.

11. Applicable law

These website terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales may hear disputes. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK, you may also bring proceedings in the courts where you live. Nothing in these terms removes mandatory consumer protections that apply to you.
