V1. Venue operator and admission
Eden Group Operations Ltd, company number 12135080, operates Greenwich Borough Hall, Royal Hill, Greenwich, London SE10 8RE. Its registered office is 64 Southwark Bridge Road, London, England, SE1 0AS. These conditions apply alongside the Show and Ticketing terms.
HUMBUG is strictly for guests aged 18 and over. Bring valid proof of age: accepted physical identification includes an original valid passport, a photocard driving licence or a photographic proof-of-age card bearing the PASS hologram. Entry and alcohol service are subject to the venue’s licence and age-verification requirements.
Security operates at the entrance. A valid ticket is required. Bag checks and security searches will take place on entry. Please allow time for them.
V2. Late arrival and re-entry
Latecomers will be admitted during the first 15 minutes after the performance starts, subject to normal admission and security requirements. Staff will direct safe entry. After 15 minutes, admission is at the team’s reasonable discretion and is not guaranteed.
Once guests leave the venue, re-entry is not permitted, except when returning from the designated smoking area in accordance with staff directions and any required security checks.
V3. Conduct, safety and refusal of admission
The producers, venue management or authorised security may refuse admission or require you to leave where, in their reasonable judgement, you are intoxicated, abusive, disruptive, unsafe or acting in a way that threatens others. Admission may also be refused if acceptable proof of age is not supplied, a security search is refused, or entry would breach the venue licence or lawful security requirements.
No ticket refund is given for justified, lawful refusal of entry on those grounds or justified removal for abusive behaviour, intoxication or disruption. Statutory rights remain unaffected.
Harassment and discriminatory behaviour are prohibited. Do not touch performers without consent, enter restricted areas, interfere with equipment or effects, or obstruct exits. Follow reasonable staff and security directions, including evacuation instructions. Decisions will take account of the circumstances and the safety and enjoyment of guests, performers and staff.
V4. Accessibility
Due to the venue layout and lift access, step-free and wheelchair-accessible attendance can be accommodated in the beer hall area only. A lift connects the ground floor with the performance floor. Accessible toilets are downstairs. The dedicated accessible lift is reserved for disabled guests who need it and their accompanying companions.
Seats can be removed for wheelchair users, and more comfortable chairs can be provided for guests who need them. Contact hello@humbugchristmas.co.uk before booking to discuss arrangements and reasonable adjustments. These physical access arrangements do not exclude guests with other access needs.
V5. Food, beverages and add-ons
Eden Group Operations Ltd supplies and is responsible for food and beverages. Tell Eden staff about allergies and dietary requirements when ordering or redeeming food or drink. Eden is responsible for assessing and facilitating the request. If it cannot fulfil a paid-for food or beverage request, the amount paid for the affected item will be refunded. This does not automatically mean a refund of the show ticket or the whole package.
Food, drink and package add-ons must be redeemed before the earlier of 1 hour 45 minutes after the performance starts or the announcement of last orders. Late arrival does not extend this deadline. Unredeemed add-ons are not refundable merely because you did not attend or did not redeem them in time; supplier non-performance and statutory rights remain separate.
Purchased add-ons move with an approved ticket exchange. Notify HUMBUG customer service of them so the add-on tickets can be reissued. Raise food and beverage concerns with Eden staff; hello@humbugchristmas.co.uk can assist with directing enquiries.
V6. Cloakroom, bags and payments
Bags larger than a standard rucksack must be checked into the cloakroom. A cloakroom charge applies; VIP guests receive complimentary cloakroom use. The applicable charge must be made clear before use. Bag checks and searches still apply.
The venue is cashless. All venue payments must be made by an accepted payment card. Cash is not accepted.
V7. Outside refreshments and smoking
Outside alcohol, food and drink must not be brought onto the premises, subject to reasonable adjustments required by law. Contact the venue beforehand if you need a medical or disability-related exception.
Smoking and vaping are prohibited indoors and are allowed only in designated smoking areas. Guests may return from the designated smoking area in accordance with V2; leaving the venue for other reasons does not permit re-entry.
V8. Guest recording and production filming
Guests may photograph and record throughout the event, but must be considerate of performers, staff and other guests and avoid disruption. Follow any staff direction to stop filming or taking photographs. Other audience members may be recording during your visit.
HUMBUG may photograph or film the audience for publicity and marketing. Tell staff if you do not want to be filmed or photographed by the production so that arrangements can be discussed and your objection addressed. Dedicated marketing recording will be identified by signs. Notice of filming is not a blanket waiver of your privacy or data-protection rights.
V9. CCTV and privacy
The venue may operate CCTV, managed by Eden Group Operations Ltd. Where CCTV is used, the venue is responsible for its notices and handling of recordings under applicable data-protection law.
HUMBUG’s privacy notice is at https://www.humbugchristmas.co.uk/privacy. Eden’s venue/CCTV privacy information and the filming notice should explain the relevant use of your information and how to raise concerns.
V10. Responsibility, complaints and governing law
Eden is responsible for the venue services it supplies, including any cloakroom service contracted with it. Nothing here removes rights against the party with whom you contracted or excludes liability for negligent handling of belongings where liability arises.
Raise immediate concerns with venue staff. Complaints can be emailed to hello@humbugchristmas.co.uk for support and referral where appropriate. Reporting on the night is not a condition of legal remedies.
Nothing excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. These conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales, preserving mandatory consumer protections and any mandatory right to use other courts.
